▪️COMPETITION RULES ▪️


1- The fourth edition of the "TEMPOCLASSICA” COMPETITION will be organized in ARGIROKASTRO and will be part of the fifth edition of "GJIRO CLASSICA" festival.

2- The competition will be held from  22 May until 25 May 2025 and is open to all pianists, violinists, cellists, guitars flutist,oboists,clarinetist, players and also chamber music regardless nationality or gender.

3-The candidates are divided into age categories.

4-The participants will cover their travel, accommodation and food expenses.

5-Application form will be sent in digital form latest on April 30th 2024 to gjiroclassica@gmail.com.

6- Candidates have to enclose a photo, a copy of the passport and the copy of the fee payment. ( Or they can pay the fee once that they will be in Argirokaster to the organization staff)

7-Registration fee for the participants by category:

PIANO-VIOLIN-CELLO
*PRE/category -20 euro
▪︎CATEGORY   A-B-C -25 euro
▪︎ CATEGORY  D dhe E - 30 euro
▪︎ CATEGORY  F  and  G  -  35 euro
▪︎ CATEGORY  H (Chamber music) - 15 euro for member

FLUTE,CLARINET,OBOE,GUITAR

• CATEGORY  A – 25 euro

•CATEGORY   B  -  30 euro

• CATEGORY  C  -  35 euro

The candidates in case of bank transfer will cover it by themself.

8- After sending the application form, all the candidates will receive a confirmation e-mail.

9- The  registration fee cannot be refunded in case that the candidate does not present at the competition.

10- Decisions of the Jury are final.

11-The Jury vote as following:
 

  • Participation Certificate - 84 points and lower 

  • THIRD PRIZE – 85 to 89 points

  • SECOND PRIZE  - 90 to 94 points 

  • FIRST PRIZE - 95 to 99 points 

  • ABSOLUTE PRIZE – 100 points

    12-The Jury can vote ONE or more candidates with Absolute Prize, as also no one if there is no candidate to merit it.

    13- The winners of ABSOLUTE PRIZE will perform at the final concert for the Big Prizes as following:

    •"IBRAHIM MADHI” - for the best violinist of the competition

    • “MARGARITA KRISTIDHI “for the best pianist of the competition

    • “GEZIM LARO”for the best cellist of the competition

    •” GJIROCLASSICA”for the best chamber music group

• “GJOVALIN SHESTANI ” “FATOS JAHO” “ANDREA CANAJ”

– for the best flute/clarinet/oboe/horn/bassoon/trombon/trumpet player “

• “EHAT MUSA “ – for the best guitar player  

14-Organizer retains all the rights to video and audio recordings.

15-Candidates will perform in aplication order.

16-The pieces will be played memorized, except in case of the chamber music program or sonatas for violin/cello or flute and piano.

17-The Jury reserves the right to stop a candidate in case of passing the maximum time. PLEASE pay attention of the time as indicated by each category.

18- In cases of a  candidate relation with a member jury, the jury member will not vote for him/her.

19-The string players candidates will bring with them the piano accompanist. In case of no possibility of the pianist, the official piano accompanist will be available in all categories. The fee will be decided by the pieces and the category.

20-The organizing staff reseves the right to cancel the competition in any category or specialty where the required number of contestants is not met.

 

21-The organizer staff reserves the right to modify these Regulations.

22-By sending the application form, all the competitors accept the rules.
